Characters Description:
Dark red-brown homogeneous liquid, fragrance of jujube with slightly bouquet, sweet. Density 1.25g/ml, containing cAMP ≥ 3mg per 100 grams, soluble solids ≥ 60%.

Tips Whats cAMP ?

cAMP is a protein kinase system live agent, it regulates the metabolic process by regulating the activity of the enzyme ,and it is known as "second messenger."of life in the life sciences and the medical profession .
In 1957,an American scientist called Sutherland discovered the existence of cAMP and reported their corresponding mechanism which acts as follows:
Hormone molecules combinate with the particular membrane receptors and that lead the activation of intracellular adenylate cyclase, so ATP translate into cAMP which activate various intracellular enzyme systems, then the signal of hormone molecule has been magnified and transmited to promote cell metabolism, thus making life activities to be carried out in an orderly and exuberant process.
Sutherland called the hormone molecule which is the extracellular signal the first messenger , called cAMP which is the intracellular signal the second messenger, called the above mechanism "second messenger theory", thereby he awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine in1971.

Since cAMP was found, thousands of laboratories are in research of it all over the world.
Eric Kandel ,the US Colombia University Professor, found the formation mechanism of memory by which he won the Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine In 2000, he found that both the short-term or long-term memory are both closely related to cAMP, protein phosphorylation plays an extremely important part in the molecular mechanism of memory formation in Kandel's theory.
Short-term memory could be formed by the weak stimulus. Neurotransmitters promote cAMP to be formed→cAMP activates PKA→then PKA make protein phosphorylation of specific ion pipeline (such as potassium pipeline)→that leads neurotransmitter to release at a prominent increase ,then the short-term memory forms.Long-term memory forms by stronger and longer stimulate. So we can see that cAMP plays an important role in the whole process of memory formation ,its lack has a serious impact of follow-up process, and that will cause weak- memory!
